The Golden Lion

The Golden Lion
51 Dean Street,
London WID 5BL

Nearest Tube Station-----Leicester Square:Northern and Piccadilly Lines

Records for this pub date back to 1769. The pub has many original features including acarved oak and special attention should be paid to the beautifully carved , ornate red ceiling.Due perhaps to its prime location its more of a vertical drinking den and gets very busy at usual times, with service suffering as a result. It also appears more blokey than others we know, lending it a rather unwelcoming atmosphere. There are plenty of better pubs nearby.

(The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
