The Courtfield located directly opposite Earls court road tube station, is a traditional 2 bar tavern. Its recently refurbished dining room open for dining early evening whilst hosting events,hires and meetings during the day .famous for it's wide selection of real ales.

``The drinks are poor quality and overpriced. There is just no excuse for this; its taking advantage of its position opposite Earls Court Station. So what. Just go down the road to The Prince of Feck ... The staff are generally hostile - disliking customers is an easy trap that staff can fall into in brewery pubs - plus there is nothing personalized about the place, and the condition of the toilets is poor - not cleaning up graffiti etc is a cure sign that they don't care . To be avoided.

The area of ‘long acre’, has been a recognized thoroughfare since Saxon times and in roman times connected Westminster to the city of London. During the reign of King John (1199-1256) Long acre was recorded as the northern boundary of the Covent Garden of the monks of St Peter’s Abbey. Over the years the area has been home to royalty, cart wrights and fritterers and to famous names such as Nicolas stone the sculptor, Oliver Cromwell and John Dryden. Today the area is still a bustling hub of activity connecting Covent Garden to Leicester Square.

This is another one done up by the Original Pub Co. Saying that, it hasn't changed much - its still full of obnoxious types who work in the area (and spill out onto the pavement once the weather gets better) and the unsuspecting tourist. Like most pubs in the area, it's chocker at quitting time and evenings but dead in the afternoons
