The Redan was named in honor of the British and French Victory over the Russians at Redan in South Crimea in 1855.
The present day the pub is a distinguished example of a mid-Victorian pub and is notable for its engraved mirrors and hand-carved mahogany bar.For any Jim Diamond or PHD fans this was the pub used in the video for the 1981 UK
